Senior Python Full Stack Developer

Job Description

Infosys is seeking Sr Python Full Stack Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or willing to relocate to this area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 2 years of development experience in maintaining high-quality software using Python programming language.
• In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch.
• Experience with ReactJS, React Hooks and Redux and modern front-end development practices.
• Designing and developing cloud-native applications using NodeJS, Next JS platform.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of AWS, Terraform.
• Analytical skills to identify root cause and come up with solutions/alternatives.
• Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
• Participating in project review meetings with the client
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Experience with Healthcare Industry is preferred.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
