Senior QA Automation Engineer

Onsite | Mossville, IL

Position Overview

This team is responsible for developing an Operator Monitoring System with a focus on operator safety features. The Senior QA Automation Engineer will work directly with a software development team of approximately 10 people to deliver high-quality software on challenging timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Define, document, and maintain test cases for the Operator Monitoring System software
Develop automated test scripts to support ongoing automated testing efforts
Test software, document results, and provide feedback to the development team on test outcomes and software testability
Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design decisions
Participate in daily standups and story/feature refinement meetings
Discuss software design choices with the Software Architect and provide input on design direction based on test results
Interact daily with development and systems team members to understand software requirements and design decisions, review test results, and provide input on design direction.

Requirements

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Software Development discipline with 8–10 years of relevant experience OR
Associate's degree with 12 years of relevant experience also considered OR
Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience also considered
