Job Description

In this crucial role, you will spearhead quality assurance initiatives to elevate product standards and ensure customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with various teams, including suppliers and clients, to bolster process improvements and adhere to ISO 9001 guidelines. Your expertise will guide the planning and execution of quality controls, specifically for welded, machined, and metal-formed products, ensuring they adhere to precise engineering specifications and welding standards.

You will play a pivotal role in implementing advanced product quality strategies and inspection routines in a manufacturing context. Responsibilities include leading Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) efforts, maintaining QA systems and creating control plans, and facilitating root cause analyses. You will drive quality improvement methodologies like DMAIC, 8D, and initiate global quality projects. Training and mentoring teams in quality principles and overseeing QA compliance and audits are key components of this role.

Successful candidates will possess a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, coupled with significant experience in related fields. Certification as a Quality Engineer and proficiency in processes such as APQP and tools like PFMEA and Minitab are preferred. The ability to collaborate across functions and with external partners with excellent communication skills is essential.
