Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Real Estate / Property Accountant with experience in the Real Estate industry. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.Responsibilities:

Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all transactions
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
Assist with month-end close procedures
Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
Prepare and file sales tax returns
Assist with annual budget preparation
Provide support for external audits
Participate in special projects as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
At least 4 years of experience in General Ledger accounting
Experience in the Real Estate or Property Accounting industry is required
Yardi Accounting Software experience is required
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Must have experience with Pivot Tables and VLookUps.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
