  • Always strive to make things simpler
  • We are One Team, we have each other's backs

  • Design for compliance- work with hardware and RF engineering (pre-scans, antenna, RF debug) so products meet regulatory requirements on the first pass
  • Keep shipping products compliant through certificate renewals, re-certification after product changes, and tracking of new regulations.
  • Own battery, lithium, and dangerous goods compliance, including airline approvals.
  • Own environmental and labeling requirements, such as RoHS, REACH, WEEE, and regulatory markings.
  • Manage test labs, certification bodies, and in-country representatives, along with the certification budget.
  • Maintain the global compliance tracker and customer-facing certificates.
  • Be the go-to regulatory expert for Sales, Support, and Operations, prioritizing requests based on demand.
  • Partner closely with Trade Compliance so product approvals, markings, and import documents line up with customs and export requirements in each country.
  • Coordinate with external third-party test labs to review test plans, quotations and manage schedules, samples, bug fixes, and re-testing.
  • Prepare, review, and submit technical filings for regional regulatory approvals, including FCC (USA), ISED (Canada), RED/CE (EU), and MIC (Japan).
  • Support hardware engineers colleagues involved in debugging certification failures (SAR, OTA, Protocol, RF EMC) and drive root-cause analysis.
  • Maintain Declaration of Conformity (DoC) records, and compliance summaries for production clearance.
