Relationship Management Analyst (RMA) - the Futures Commission Merchant team (FCM) is responsible for providing overall client satisfaction efficiently and economically while monitoring BBH's financial exposure. The role manages the day-to-day aspects of the Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO) client relationships to support high client service expectations and serves as a point of escalation for complex issues. You will develop an understanding of the client's goals and objectives in collaboration with the FCM Relationship Manager and internal departments to meet the client's needs. You will be required to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of inquiries and ensure execution of high-volume transactions in the multi-million-dollar range across numerous currencies. You will be required to independently assess and communicate time sensitive transactions to determine whether they fall within BBH's risk tolerance or require escalation to senior management (including BBH's Credit Committee and Partners).

Key responsibilities:

  1. Client Servicing
  • Establish and maintain client service model in collaboration with the FCM Relationship Manager.
  • Primary day- to-day client contact for activities which include margin settlements, banking, collateral and investment activities and collateral management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to all client inquiries with a goal of client satisfaction.
  • Provide filtering and escalation for client requests; serves as an escalation point for client service issues.
  • Build a network of contacts within the client organization as well as across internal departments within BBH.
  • Build overall credibility and foster trust with clients on the telephone and via in person meetings.
  1. Risk and Control
  • Be able to understand and ensure adherence to regulations specific to FCM/DCO clients.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to time sensitive margin payments and security movements to meet tight exchange deadlines.
  • Monitor and release daily payments via BBH's internal payment system based on pre-defined client criteria.
  • Vigilantly monitor client behavior to alleviate any areas of potential risk to the firm.
  • Interact closely with BBH's Treasury team to keep them apprised of FCM/DCO client's US and foreign daily activity to ensure effective cashiering for the bank.
  • Review and ensure client documentation is current in collaboration with the FCM Relationship Manager.
  • Review invoices generated by BBH's internal Billing team to ensure accuracy and monitor client accounts for timely collection of fees.
  1. Technology, Productivity and Innovation
  • Troubleshoot and ensure resolution of technical issues experienced by clients on BBH systems.
  • Manage setup of clients and train them on BBH's Web-based product (Infuse) to view their accounts and generate reports/statements, with the aim of reducing client inquiries.
  • Realize FCM team efficiencies through increased automation and streamlining workflows.

  • Required to work non-traditional hours, including holidays, and may include evenings and weekends when necessary.

Salary Range

NY: $85,000 - $105,000 base salary + annual bonus target

The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
