Job Summary

Senior-level reporting position within Thrivent Asset Management Distribution Data & Technology with responsibility for the design and delivery of a comprehensive suite of applications reports and dashboards that display metrics and results. Leads consultation to obtain business reporting requirements and provides leadership to functional teams. Provides proactive vision and reporting enhancements to Sr. leaders and key stakeholders to help them meet their strategic objectives.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with key leaders to understand business objectives and the connection to report application design and deployment.
  • Provides oversight and expertise for the development of reporting solutions designed to meet the objectives of the business.
  • Oversee the maintenance and daily report operations of the division. Adjust and modify reporting solutions to keep pace with changing requirements.
  • Supports business leaders by proactively providing consultation and collaboration to design reporting solutions to meet their strategic and tactical needs.
  • Identify and resolve highly complex problems with report design including tool, data, system and network issues.
  • Provides Governance leadership for the reporting and data environment.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • College degree required. The ideal candidate will have a degree in mathematics, business, statistics, information systems or related field.
  • 5-7 years using database and data warehouse environments.
  • Expert with SAS and Business Objects reporting tools including the development of self service report applications and data structure for advance querying.
  • Advanced knowledge of the business functions and systems in the division.

Preferred:

  • 1-2 years' experience with Domo or similar visualization platforms.
  • 1-2 years' experience working with investment product sales and asset data.
  • Experience working with sensitive data such as financial, compensation, health etc.
  • Experience with marketing data such as advertising or web site data.

  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational, planning and problem solving skills.
  • Able to work with a sense of urgency on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, within a stated objective.
  • Ability to utilize technology to create reports and/or secure information necessary for decision making in a manner that is readily consumable by leadership.

Additional Information

  • This position requires you to work on-site in Minneapolis, MN a minimum of three days a week (currently Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $85,613.00 - $115,830.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
