SENIOR FINTECH SALES EXECUTIVE - PARTICIPATE

The Participate mission is to provide community financial institutions (CFIs) with state-of-the-art technologies that help increase efficiency, improve profitability, and enhance in-market relationships. Operating as an innovation lab, we create out of the box solutions that streamline customer interaction and operational processes for today’s financial institutions so they can get back to what really matters – serving their customers and their communities.

What We’re Doing

BankLabs is revolutionizing the traditionally slow loan participation process with our newest product, Participate, the first patented end-to-end participation loan management tool for both originators and participants. We intend to democratize the loan participation space by streamlining the process and thereby allowing financial institutions of all sizes to use participations as an integral part of their balance sheet management strategy. We are looking for classically trained, proven sales professionals to help us achieve our mission. Your focus will be on finding and closing deals with originating lenders who sell loan participations. If you are a closer who knows how to get a deal done, read on!

What You’ll Do

  • Thoroughly learn and embrace the Participate vision, mission, and sales process; and be able to articulate the Participate product benefits, features and value-add proposition
  • Generate high-quality leads with executives in the C-Suite and Loan Operations, demonstrating the benefits of automating the financial institution’s existing participation loan portfolio
  • Work across teams and functions to ensure all prospects receive the highest quality, personalized product demo
  • Build a funnel of prospective FI customers and run the end-to-end sales process for each deal
  • Update the CRM system daily, documenting all interactions and sales activities
  • Travel to prospective clients for in-person meetings and demonstrations

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in new revenue generating role with a strong track record of creating leads and closing deals
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • High energy, goal-oriented, and driven
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Some exposure to loan participations is a plus but not required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and one or more CRM systems required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Must be able to travel 2 weeks per month
