Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Consultant / Developer to join a large-scale, multi-year Salesforce transformation for a global enterprise operating across multiple regions and business units.

This is a hands-on implementation role embedded directly within an established agile development team. The consultant will work across Revenue Cloud Advanced, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the broader Salesforce platform, helping build a standardized end-to-end customer lifecycle spanning sell quote contract deliver invoice.

The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce technical skills with a consultative mindset someone comfortable building solutions hands-on while questioning designs, identifying better approaches, and collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and develop Salesforce functionality across Revenue Cloud Advanced, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud
• Support Revenue Cloud processes including product configuration, pricing, quoting, contracts, amendments, renewals, orders, and downstream billing/invoicing workflows
• Translate approved solution designs, user stories, and requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions
• Participate in pair programming, with pair assignments rotating regularly across the development team
• Contribute to technical design decisions and proactively identify opportunities to improve scalability, maintainability, and use of native Salesforce functionality
• Participate in estimation sessions, sprint planning, project kickoffs, solution discussions, demos, and other client-facing activities
• Work within two-week agile iterations and maintain delivery velocity within a highly collaborative development environment
• Collaborate across a complex ecosystem of Salesforce functionality, enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and legacy/custom systems
• Help identify opportunities to simplify or consolidate existing technologies by leveraging Salesforce platform capabilities
• Support a global transformation requiring standardized processes across business units while accommodating justified regional or business-specific requirements

Required Experience

• 5 years of hands-on Salesforce implementation/development experience
• Strong Salesforce configuration and development capabilities, including Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, data modeling, security, and automation
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions
• Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced / Revenue Lifecycle Management, ideally including quoting and related quote-to-cash processes
• Experience with Sales Cloud
• Experience with Experience Cloud
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, platform capabilities, integration patterns, and development best practices
• Experience working with enterprise integrations and external systems; direct Oracle integration experience is beneficial but not required
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including estimation, sprint planning, demos, and iterative development
• Ability to work directly with client stakeholders and communicate effectively with both technical and functional audiences

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are specifically looking for someone who is more than an order taker.

The strongest candidate will be able to receive a requirement or design, understand the intended business outcome, build the solution hands-on, and also recognize when there may be a better way to accomplish it within Salesforce.

They should be comfortable saying:

"I can build this as designed, but have we considered this alternative?

This person should bring enough Salesforce depth to match or elevate the capabilities of an existing development team, while remaining collaborative and effective in a paired-programming environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Revenue Cloud / Revenue Cloud Advanced experience or certifications
• Experience implementing complex quote-to-cash or sell-to-invoice processes
• Experience with contracts, amendments, renewals, orders, billing, and invoicing
• Experience with global or multi-business-unit Salesforce implementations
• Experience rationalizing legacy/custom applications into Salesforce
• Experience working with Oracle or other enterprise ERP platforms
• Familiarity with enterprise middleware and API-based integration patterns
• Salesforce Platform Developer and/or Application Architect certifications

Engagement Details

• Type: Full-time contract engagement
• Duration: Long-term; expected to support a multi-year transformation
• Allocation: 40 hours/week, dedicated to the project
• Location: Remote within the U.S.
• Working Hours: Must be able to consistently support the team's Eastern Time collaboration window
• Preferred Location: Candidates in Ann Arbor, MI will get priority preference
• Environment: Highly collaborative, client-facing, paired-programming delivery model
