Senior Salesforce Developer

IDR is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lansing, MI. This role involves supporting government-driven projects within the Salesforce platform, emphasizing custom development, integrations, and automation to meet state agency requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to design and implement scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview for the Senior Salesforce Developer:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions utilizing Salesforce development best practices.
• Develop and maintain Apex code including triggers, batch jobs, queueable jobs, and scheduled processes.
• Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support modern user experiences.
• Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and related technologies.
• Develop automated business processes utilizing Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, and Formula Fields.

Requirements for the Senior Salesforce Developer:

• 3-5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Platform Development experience (in the US)
• Must have prior experience supporting a State/Government project
• Strong expertise with: Apex Development (Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex); Lightning Web Components (LWC); SOQL/SOSL; Salesforce DX (SFDX); REST and SOAP API integrations; Platform Events; Named Credentials; Salesforce Security Model (Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, OWD); Salesforce Flows and Process Automation; Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform architecture
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
