Position Overview

The Senior Salesforce Developer/Solution Architect is responsible for the technical design, development, and ongoing integrity of the company's Salesforce platform. This role serves as the technical lead for Salesforce delivery translating complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards. This role combines hands-on development responsibilities with architectural oversight and technical mentorship of the Salesforce development team.

Principal Accountabilities

  1. Salesforce Architecture & Solution Design
  • Lead the technical design of scalable solutions that align with enterprise integration patterns, platform standards, and long-term business goals.
  • Ensure architectural consistency, system performance, security, and data integrity across Salesforce implementations.
  • Evaluate platform capabilities and recommend configuration-first or custom development approaches as appropriate.
  1. Team Mentorship & Governance
  • Serve as the technical lead for the Salesforce development team, providing architectural direction and enforcing development standards and best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues and architectural risks.
  • Partner with stakeholders to establish and maintain technical roadmaps.
  1. Advanced Development
  • Design and build Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC). Flows, and integrations in support of business requirements.
  • Maintain a balance between declarative configuration and custom development.
  • Support enhancements, defect resolution, and system optimization activities.
  1. Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Collaborate with business partners to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
  • Provide technical input during planning and prioritization activities.
  • Advise stakeholders on Salesforce capabilities, constraints, and solution tradeoffs.
  1. DevOps, Release Management & Agile Delivery
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines and release processes to ensure reliable, high-quality deployments.
  • Ensure adherence to release governance and change management standards.
  1. Approaches work, interactions and relationships in a manner consistent with the Company's Core Values

  2. Maintains the highest Compliance standards by adhering to the company's Human Resources guidelines, Compliance policies and procedures, professional designation standards, and industry's regulatory standards to mitigate risk to the company

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow Builder, and complex integrations required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects or serve as a technical mentor required.
  • Demonstrated experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment required.
  • Prior experience in Financial Services or Wealth Management preferred.
  • Experience implementing or customizing FSC preferred, including deep knowledge of the Financial Account data model.
  • Experience with the Agentforce 2.0 framework preferred, including configuring autonomous agents, designing "Topics", and building custom Agent Actions using Apex or Flows.
  • Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform for API-led connectivity between Salesforce and other applications preferred.

Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PDI) required.

Physical Requirements:

  • The employee may be required to work hours other than regular schedule such as nights and weekends for software releases.
