This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior SCADA and Industrial Control System Engineer to work out of Meridian, ID office. Be involved in projects with our WSP USA Solutions Inc. Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges
Your Impact
- Manage and document system requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Analyze system architectures and recommend improvements to optimize performance, reliability, and safety.
- Conduct system integrations and evaluate performance to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Assist in overseeing interface management and ensure compatibility between system components.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks that may impact project outcomes.
- Apply proven systems engineering methodologies to resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent.
- 7+ years of relevant post-education experience in an engineering discipline and prior systems engineering experience.
- Due to client requirements, US citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US government Secret/Top Secret clearance.
- Engineer in Training Certification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Proficiency in systems engineering methodologies, tools, and practices.
- Capable interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
- Effective self-leadership with attention to detail, results orientation, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active US Government Secret/Top Secret Clearance.
