Senior Social Media Strategist

Culture moves fast, and the Tombras social media team moves faster. We work at the speed ofculture to build obsessive fandoms around some of your favorite brands like Baskin-Robbins,Venmo, and Arby’s. We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Strategist who can lead strategy,drive cultural and consumer insights, and manage day-to-day social media executional effortsfor clients. This role reports into the Organic Social department and will work closely with otherdepartments and clients to create world-class social first campaigns rooted in data and insights.

The ideal candidate combines creativity, strategy, and analytical expertise to spearhead ourclient’s social efforts across all social channels, will serve as an internal leader within the socialdepartment, and will help grow and evolve our social media service lines at Tombras.

What you'll be doing:

• Day-to-day social account management and leadership across various client brands Ongoing collaboration with in-house creative directors, community managers, brand strategists, project managers, account teams, and analysts to produce and execute best-in-class social media campaigns 
• Oversee execution of omnichannel social campaigns from creative concept through deployment, optimization, and performance analysis 
• Drive advanced, on-trend social strategy and create social brand playbooks across various clients 
• Lead and present monthly/quarterly social performance analysis and reports to agency leadership and clients 
• Manage and mentor a team of social media managers and strategists Continuously explore new social platforms, functionalities, and technologies to push boundaries and evolve our thinking across the agency 
• Ongoing and obsessive social listening 
• Work at the speed of social -fast! Which means more opportunities to make exceptional and impactful content

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in social media management, strategy and content creation Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools
• Ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently under pressure
• Desire to build and foster engaged communities and create award-winning social-firstwork with a team of highly motivated creatives and strategists
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing and leading a team, giving feedback,setting goals, and fostering a positive team culture
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention-to-detail and ability to proofread content for grammatical accuracy andmaintain style consistency across pieces
• Public speaking and presentation skills to ensure ideas are presented effectively andcoherently
• Passion for current and emerging social media platforms, trends, and best practices Strong project management and organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and managemultiple projects simultaneously
• A solution-oriented mindset, and an attitude of positivity, adaptability, curiosity, andexploration
