Job Title:Senior Software Safety Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and mitigate software safety risks & hazards
- Develop and maintain risk management files (ISO 14971 compliant)
- Perform risk analysis (FMEA, FTA, hazard analysis)
- Lead design verification & validation traceability
- Conduct reliability/safety studies & statistical analysis
- Recommend design improvements for safety & reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Regulatory)
Products Supported
- Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) devices (implantable medical devices)
Experience Required
- 4+ years in engineering, reliability, or quality
- Experience in regulated industries (medical device preferred)
- Knowledge of risk management & safety standards
Nice to Have
- Implantable medical device experience
- DOE, SPC, Design for Reliability (DfR), Six Sigma
- Software/system experience (C++, Java, Python, etc.)
- Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 820
