Position Description

Performs specialized, complex work to assist in the organization and implementation of various projects and programs. Work is performed under supervision within established guidelines with performance based on overall results obtained.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Performs provider credentialing, recredentialing, privileging, and enrollment processes.
  • Maintains accurate provider records and monitors licensure, certification, and other credential expirations.
  • Ensures compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assists with provider onboarding, appointments, reappointemnts, and privileging activities.
  • Serves as a point of contact for providers, department leaders, and external agencies regarding Medical Staff matters.

Pay Statement

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website at https://app4.ttuhsc.edu/payplan.

Occasional Duties

  • Assists with accreditation surveys, regulatory audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Provides cross-coverage and support for other MSO functions as assigned.
  • Compiles and analyzes data for reports, dashboards, and leadership requests.

Visa Information

TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.
