Senior SRE / DevOps Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC 28202 or Detroit, MI 48226Duration: 6 Months ContractExperience: 10+ Years

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, site reliability, DevOps, and container platforms.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, observability tools, scripting, and incident management.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure using AWS.
  • Work with AWS services including ECS, EKS, EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, and IAM.
  • Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS/ECS.
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure using Dynatrace, Splunk, and Grafana.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash.
  • Support production environments and participate in incident management and troubleshooting.
  • Define and monitor SLOs and SLIs to improve system reliability.
  • Apply DevOps, DevSecOps, and Site Reliability Engineering best practices.
  • Work with AI tools and LLM technologies to improve automation and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development, security, infrastructure, and operations teams.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of SRE/DevOps experience.
  • Strong AWS experience.
  • ECS, EKS, EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM.
  • Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Terraform.
  • Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana.
  • Python and Bash scripting.
  • AI tooling and LLM knowledge.
