Senior Staff Accountant
Gowing CPA firm with multiple clients medium to large size.
The primary services provided include write ups (compilations), taxes, payroll and other finance support functions such as receivables and payables.

We are seeking a self motivated individual, an independent thinker and highly energetic.
This is a busy environment where client satisfaction is paramount. This is a mid-level position and candidates must have experience in managing projects and staff, be a savvy technology user, and a quick learner of trends.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelors degree in accounting or Masters. Ideal candidate will be a CPA candidate who has either already taken the CPA or is sitting for the exam shortly.
Thorough knowledge of Quickbooks
Knowledge of tax preparation and laws.
Experience
3-5 years in an accounting environment.
Accurate and detail oriented with good math skills.
Proven superior project/organizational skills, ability to establish priorities, and ability to multitask under deadlines.
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills – Ability to supervise and motivate.
Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and work with limited supervision.
Project management skills
Time management skills
Highest standards of ethics and discretion with prior experience handling confidential information.
