Senior Superintendent – Natural Gas Utility Construction (Georgia)

Lead the Growth of a New Georgia Operation

We're partnering with a rapidly growing natural gas utility contractor seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent who holds the Georgia Utility Manager/Qualifier Certification required to qualify utility contractors in the state.

This company has achieved 100% year-over-year growth for the past four years and is expanding into Georgia. They're looking for a hands-on field leader who wants more than just another superintendent role—they're looking for someone who wants to help build and lead a new operation from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall field leadership for natural gas utility construction projects from startup through completion

• Direct Superintendents, Foremen, crews, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule

• Maintain the highest standards for safety, quality, and production across multiple job sites

• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, owners, engineers, inspectors, and utility representatives

• Oversee manpower planning, equipment utilization, scheduling, and daily field operations

• Identify and resolve field challenges while maintaining project productivity and profitability

• Mentor and develop field leadership to build a strong, high-performing team

• Assist in establishing and expanding the company's Georgia operations while fostering long-term client relationships

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Utility Manager/Qualifier Certification

• Extensive experience supervising natural gas utility construction projects

• Proven ability to lead multiple crews and manage complex field operations

• Strong knowledge of underground utility construction, safety regulations, scheduling, and quality control

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to build relationships with clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders

• Self-motivated leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to help grow a new regional operation
