Job Description
Global Financial Firm located in IRVING, TX has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Sr Tableau DeveloperPay Rate: $50- $60 per hourLocation: Irving, TXWork Mode: Hybrid
This is a contract role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.
- Hands-on with Tableau Desktop for dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, and data source management.
- Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
- Optimize SQL queries for maximum efficiency and performance.
- Review and improve existing systems and collaborate with teams to integrate new systems.
- Conduct unit tests and develop database queries to analyze and troubleshoot issues.
- Create visualizations for data extracted using Tableau.
- Manage Tableau Server and Administration on Linux Server, including server upgrades/installation.
- Identify key areas of automation to streamline business processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise BI development.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Tableau.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, Sybase, and MongoDB, and managing unstructured data.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with analytics using Big Data is a plus.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with TabPy and Data Management Addon is a plus.
- Experience working within an Agile development methodology is a plus.
