Job Description

A well-known, aggressive CPA firm is ready to add the next leader to the team. This opportunity is part of the firm’s plan for growth and the strengthening of both the public tax and business advisory side of business. They are seeking a Tax Senior to join a team of highly motivated staff. The successful Tax Senior will have high ethical standards and make an impact on day one. This firm offers a wonderful culture, work/ life balance, generous compensation with unlimited room for growth for the perfect incoming Tax Senior.

Performance Expectations for the Tax Senior:

Contribute to a team of highly motivated staff accountants/tax accountants
Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clients
Oversee complex tax projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries
Maintain strong relationships with clients
Be a hands-on leader

Experience/Qualifications for the Tax Senior:

Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or Equivalent
CPA Eligible
A minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in public accounting. Experience in Audit & or Business Advisory is highly desired.
Must have the ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service
Must have strong multi-tasking skills
Must have strong leadership skills
Must be willing to work >40 hours per week during busy season
Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation for the Tax Senior:

Benefits: Simple IRA w/ 3% match & Major Holiday’s Paid
10 days of PTO/ year + 1 PTO day accrual/ month

No required minimum billable hours
