Job Details

Responsibilities:Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership and non-profit tax returns of varying complexitiesPrepare and review underlying tax workpapersPerform tax research on client tax matters and provide technical recommendationsTrain and mentor staff accountantsAssist in client tax planning and business advisoryCommunicate appropriately with clients, providing excellent service and quick turnaround

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance3-5 years of experience working for a certified public accounting firmStrong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulationsKnowledge of accounting principles, practices, and proceduresProfessional, driven, and self-motivatedOutstanding organizational and project management skillsAbility to collaborate with others on tasks to meet deadlinesAbility to handle sensitive and confidential materialStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong time management skills and ability to work independentlyAbility to multi-task in fast paced environment and approaches projects with a sense of urgencyProficient with Microsoft Office and QuickBooksPreferred: Certified Public Accountant or actively studying and preparing for CPA certification
