Job Description
Were seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to support indirect tax compliance and multi?state sales/use tax filings. This role partners cross?functionally, analyzes complex tax data, and helps improve key processes. Commercial real estate escrow experience is strongly preferred. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review multi?state sales & use tax filings
- Compile and analyze tax data from multiple sources
- Query financial data using SQL; reconcile GL accounts
- Manage exemption certificates and tax correspondence
- Support cross?department tax issue resolution
- Research multi?state tax rules and registration requirements
- Identify process improvements; handle special projects
- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 13+ years relevant experience (indirect tax preferred)
- Commercial real estate escrow experience highly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF formulas)
- Strong communicator with urgency, accuracy, and professionalism
