Tax Senior ManagerJob descriptionOur client is a public accounting and consulting firm based in the Los Angeles area advising and assisting our clients with their accounting, tax, financial and strategic planning needs.With about 50 professionals, we are a fast-growing, local firm with some of the best clients in the region. Our tax department currently has 35 professionals and is growing. There is room to develop your skills and grow your career. We have adopted a holistic business strategy in which our service areas work closely together to make sure we are taking into account our client's overall business strategy when making important financial decisions. This unique service model empowers us to offer distinct solutions and is responsive to our client'?s needs. Our professionals and team of advisors specialize in servicing privately held middle-market businesses in a broad range of industries.Qualifications

7 years of tax experience; preferably in public accounting.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; preferably with an emphasis in accounting. Advanced degree in accounting or tax is desirable.
Licensed CPA, or JD
Managerial, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality tax compliance and consulting services for partnerships, corporations, S corporations, individuals, estates, and trusts.
Manage a portfolio of clients—acting as the key point of contact
Join our management team to improve overall performance of engagements including staff development, project budgets, billing, and collections.
Advise clients—responsible for delivering high-quality service and advice.
Identify opportunities for tax planning and other special services.
Participate in marketing and business activities to grow the firm.
