Overview:Join our dynamic Corporate Tax team and make an impact in a U.S.-headquartered multinational organization. As a Senior Tax Associate, you will play a critical role in direct income tax compliance, ASC 740 reporting, tax audits, and tax technology initiatives for a publicly traded company. This position offers the opportunity to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and SEC requirements while driving process improvements and supporting cross-functional projects that contribute to overall business success.
This is a hybrid opportunity with an on-site work schedule Tuesday to Thursday at our headquarters in Waltham, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare U.S. income tax compliance workpapers, including book-to-tax adjustments, tax credits, estimated payments, and extensions.
- Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provisions, including calculations, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for ASC 740 compliance.
- Support federal and state tax audits by gathering documentation and drafting responses to inquiries and notices.
- Contribute to tax technology initiatives, including ERP system implementations and automation projects to enhance efficiency.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to strengthen tax compliance, financial reporting, and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tax strategies with broader business objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of corporate income tax experience in public accounting and/or multinational corporate tax department.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, MST, and/or CPA strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with SAP, HFM, Smart View, (excel add-in) and OneSource (OTP) preferred.
- Familiarity with Excel macros, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar data analytics tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $84,000.00 - $100,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
