Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Tax Consultant, your major responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and managing various aspects of multi-entity accounting and financial reporting.
- Ensuring strict compliance with SOX and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Providing strategic tax planning and consulting services to our clients, with a focus on S-corp tax issues.
- Conducting thorough research on complex tax matters and providing actionable and practical solutions to clients.
- Assisting in the preparation and review of corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients through regular communication and excellent customer service.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of tax services.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tax laws, and regulations to provide the most effective tax strategies to clients.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA designation is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax consulting, with a focus on multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, SOX compliance, and S-corp.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, corporate tax planning, and tax compliance procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in using tax software and other accounting tools.
- A strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
