Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze client financial reports to provide strategic insights and growth recommendations.
- Prepare and review tax returns for corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships, and individuals.
- Supervise, train, and review the work of junior tax preparers.
- Support bookkeepers with accounting entries and financial statement accuracy.
- Establish and maintain workflow systems to track the status of all tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying tax-saving opportunities and long-term growth strategies.
Qualifications:
- CPA license (active and in good standing).
- 7 plus years of hands-on experience in tax preparation and review.
- Strong understanding of corporate, partnership, and individual taxation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple client engagements.
- Experience with tax and accounting software (CCH Axcess, QuickBooks).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think like a CFO and help clients grow.
