Senior Tax Manager- International Tax- Miami, FLWho: A seasoned CPA with at least ten years of public accounting experience and proven leadership and technical tax review expertise.What: Leads complex tax engagements, conducts final technical reviews, manages staff and workflow, and supports strong client relationships and business development initiatives.When: Full-time senior leadership role available immediately.Where: Miami, FLWhy: To strengthen the firm’s tax practice through expert oversight, staff development, client service excellence, and ongoing growth initiatives.Office Environment: A collaborative, professional environment that values mentorship, communication, and the consistent delivery of high-quality work.Salary: Competitive and commensurate with senior-level experience.Position Overview:The Senior Tax Manager oversees a broad portfolio of complex tax engagements, ensures technical accuracy, develops and mentors staff, maintains strong client relationships, and contributes to firmwide growth while upholding high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.Key Responsibilities:- Provide final technical review on tax returns and supporting documents across the client base.- Research complex tax issues and prepare well-supported recommendations.- Remain current with evolving tax laws and accounting procedures.- Plan, schedule, and manage client engagements to ensure all deadlines are met.- Communicate directly with clients to support their best interests and long-term satisfaction.- Lead and support staff by setting objectives, allocating resources, and fostering a positive, high-performing work environment.- Oversee quality control processes and evaluate personnel performance.- Assign, manage, and track tasks and projects delegated to staff and supervisors.- Mentor and develop staff and supervisors to strengthen the team.- Build and nurture internal and external networks to support business development opportunities.- Manage billing, collections, WIP activity, aging, and write-downs.- Participate in and help facilitate in-house CPE and firm training initiatives.Qualifications:- CPA certification required.- Minimum of ten years of public accounting experience.- Demonstrated leadership ability with strong decision-making skills.- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize a heavy workload.If you’re interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now.
