This role includes managing tax compliance and consulting engagements, reviewing technical work, leading team development, and supporting business growth initiatives. You will play a key part in shaping the direction of the group while elevating both client outcomes and internal talent.Key Responsibilities:- Build and sustain excellent client relationships with leading real estate companies.- Perform complex technical reviews of tax returns across a variety of entity types.- Identify complex client issues and propose creative, strategic tax solutions.- Review operating agreements, LOIs, purchase agreements, and other transaction documents.- Oversee engagement economics, including billing, collections, and profitability.- Recruit, mentor, develop, and motivate team members to build a strong leadership pipeline.- Collaborate across departments to expand service offerings and identify cross-functional opportunities.- Grow a professional network with colleagues, referral partners, prospects, and industry groups.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s in Tax preferred.- 7+ years of recent public accounting experience managing real estate tax engagements.- Demonstrated experience developing staff and managing workflow and deadlines.- Deep expertise in real estate taxation, including partnerships and multi-entity structures.- CPA certification required.- Strong leadership, project management, and client relationship skills.- Excellent communication and networking abilities.- Proficiency with tax technology and software tools.If you’re interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now.
