Job Description
Senior Interior Technical DesignerPOSITIONWe are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Technical Designer to lead and maintain interior drawing standards across multifamily and mixed-use projects. This role is responsible for construction detailing, Revit standards, drawing production, and quality control of all interior design documentation. The ideal candidate is highly technical, collaborative, and passionate about producing accurate, high-quality construction documents.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coach and mentor designers on constructability and technical detailing.
- Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and consultants throughout the design and documentation process.
- Develop and produce interior architectural drawings in accordance with drafting standards, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Maintain and enforce Revit standards, drawing standards, and QA/QC procedures.
- Coordinate project documentation with internal teams and outside consultants.
- Ensure construction documents provide complete information for accurate pricing and execution.
- Review technical shop drawings and submittals during construction administration.
- Support continuous improvement of documentation standards and technical processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- NCIDQ and/or Registered Interior Designer (RID) preferred.
- 10+ years of experience on multifamily, mixed-use, or hospitality projects.
- Extensive experience producing interior construction documents and technical detailing.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, specifications, and applicable building codes.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a high level of professionalism.
