Position: Senior Technical Lead Azure DevOps / Kubernetes / GrafanaLocation : Plano TXWe are looking for a hands-on Senior Technical Lead with strong expertise in Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Grafana, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and production observability.The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with DevOps engineering, Kubernetes-based deployments, release automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and platform reliability. This role requires strong collaboration with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Design, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications and services running on Kubernetes.
- Establish and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using Grafana and related telemetry/monitoring tools.
- Define dashboards, alerts, and operational metrics to improve visibility into application and platform health.
- Troubleshoot complex deployment, Kubernetes, infrastructure, performance, and production issues.
- Implement deployment automation and promote consistent DevOps practices across development environments.
- Support containerized application deployments, configuration management, scaling, upgrades, and release activities.
- Improve platform reliability, availability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with application development, cloud, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to drive technical solutions.
- Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on DevOps, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational best practices.
- Drive automation and identify opportunities to eliminate repetitive manual operational activities.

- Experience with infrastructure and deployment automation.
- Strong scripting skills using technologies such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or equivalent automation languages.
- Good understanding of Git-based development and release workflows.
- Strong production troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis capabilities.
- Experience supporting highly available enterprise applications or platforms.
- Microsoft Azure cloud experience.
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) experience.
- Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or similar tools.
- Experience with Prometheus and integration with Grafana.
- Knowledge of logging and observability platforms.
- Experience with Helm for Kubernetes application packaging and deployment.
- Understanding of cloud security, secrets management, RBAC, networking, and secure CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with SRE principles and operational metrics.
- Ability to provide technical direction and lead engineering discussions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively across application, DevOps, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to mentor team members and drive engineering best practices.
- Comfortable taking ownership of complex technical and production issues
