As AI models get more capable, the quality of the human data used to evaluate and align them becomes one of the most consequential inputs to model safety. This team builds the human data programs that leading labs and application-layer companies rely on to understand risk, operationalize Trust & Safety policy, and catch edge cases before they reach users. This role owns those programs end to end.

This is an ops and systems-building role. You'll design, generate, evaluate, and scale high-quality human data that Trust & Safety and ML teams can actually use.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading end-to-end AI Safety human data programs across human data operations, policy development, rubric and taxonomy design, evaluation, benchmarking, and red teaming
  • Operationalizing Trust & Safety policy into structured workflows that expert reviewers and clinicians can execute at scale
  • Building rubrics, taxonomies, and evaluation frameworks that make outputs reliable, auditable, and actionable
  • Running red teaming and edge-case discovery programs to surface model risks before they become real-world problems
  • Managing expert, contractor, and vendor-based review workflows with real quality, speed, and cost tradeoffs
  • Partnering with policy, product, and engineering stakeholders to turn ambiguous safety goals into execution plans

What we're looking for:

  • 6+ years leading complex, cross-functional technical programs in fast-moving environments
  • Experience managing expert, contractor, or vendor-based review workflows at scale
  • Background in human data operations, Trust & Safety, or evaluation programs
  • Hands-on experience with AI evaluation, red teaming, LLM alignment, or model benchmarking
  • Track record of translating ambiguous safety goals into structured, repeatable playbooks
  • Strong judgment on quality, speed, and cost tradeoffs in operations
  • Clear communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Must be authorized to work in the US. No visa sponsorship.
