We're about community, inside and out. You'll find coworkers who are eager to team up, collaborate, and smash (or elegantly solve) problems together. We're on a quest to empower live communities, so if this sounds good to you, see what we're up to on LinkedIn and X,  and discover the projects we're solving on our Blog. About the Role

As a Senior TPM in the Community Health organization, you'll be joining the team responsible for keeping users safe. You will own programs that span the range of user-facing tools like AutoMod or Shield Mode, updates to our enforcement systems and guidelines, or improvements to our content moderation tooling.

We're looking for a TPM that has a deep understanding and appreciation for complex programs with many stakeholders. The right person won't just be focused on driving towards an outcome as quickly as possible, but will also consider the long term impact of a program on our users, development teams, operations teams, and others.

You'll report to the Director of Engineering for Community Health. This role is based in San Francisco, CA, but we are open to arrangements that support working west coast hours.

You Will:

  • Drive programs with high degrees of ambiguity, multiple customer groups, and multiple stakeholder groups
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to solve critical business problems
  • Identify areas of strategic opportunity, determining when a program makes sense, or doesn't
  • Collaborate with other TPMs across the company on both cross-company strategic programs, as well as on continually improving best practices in this domain

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience as a TPM or Engineering Manager
  • Understanding of when introducing process makes sense and when it doesn't
  • Experience working directly with ICs on designing solutions and understanding problem spaces
  • Experience working directly with executives to drive clarity and deliver results on complex programs
  • Passion for working in a mission driven organization

Bonus Points

  • Experience working in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, Identity, Regulatory, or Governance type organizations.
  • A successful track record owning and driving programs in the infrastructure, platform, and/or product domains

Perks

  • Medical, Dental, Vision & Disability Insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Maternity & Parental Leave
  • Flexible PTO
  • Amazon Employee Discount
