THE WORK

TKO provides systems engineering, software development, data science and cloud development and engineering services to the Cyber Infrastructure Solutions customer. The services enable the Data Transformation, Malware Analysis, and Cyber Threat Intelligence processing and sharing capabilities for the customer, fulfilling mission objectives and offering actionable information to detect and mitigate cyber threats. The contract has several locations in Maryland and a small contingent in Texas.

You are a Thread Engineer with strong project management skills to provide engineering solutions and project management for data flows supporting tactical mission partners in support of the Data Transformation Solutions (DTS) TTO. You will be able to elicit and refine requirements, schedule work breakdown to deliverables, document artifacts, and provide roadmaps and schedules for implementing end-to-end data flows, including transformation into a standard data model. You will form good customer relationships and reach out to external customers for requirements and understanding of the data and the data needs of the users. You will have a good understanding of the customer data flow architecture and will work as a key contributor in] an agile development environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience

OR

  • A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience.

OR

  • A Master's or PhD degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.

TS/SCI with Poly

Required Skills:

  • Ability to critically think through complex data flow problems, break down effort into manageable tasks, and create/maintain scope out of sometimes vague customer requirements.
  • Good working skills with Atlassian products such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Good understanding of data processing capabilities.
  • Understands system-to-system connections for data flow processes.
  • Basic understanding of NiFi, should understand flow file attributes or be able to learn it quickly.
  • Understanding of SIGINT collection and analysis.
  • Experience with Military Cryptologic Offices, Tactical Collection Capabilities, Military SIGINT architectures and related data flows.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with TechSIGINT (ELINT, FISINT and PROFORMA) collection.
  • Experience with Electronic Warfare operations, sensors and related data.
  • Familiar with data formats such as CSV, JSON, PCAP and XML.
  • Understanding of tactical datalinks and command and control signals.
  • Understanding of data architectures.
  • Experience with Intelligence Community.
  • Experience with DoD Service Intelligence Centers (such as NASIC).
  • Understanding of DoD - command structures and relationships.
  • Experience with customer mission partners.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $145,200 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
