The ideal candidate will play a key role in legal support, research, and document production, while also mentoring junior staff and driving efficiency across the team.Who You Are
- Extremely detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experienced in legal research, drafting, and document review
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities independently
- Strong communicator with the ability to interface with attorneys and internal teams
- Technologically adept, with a working knowledge of AI tools and legal tech platforms
- A team player who can support and mentor junior staff
- Conduct legal research and assist attorneys in analyzing complex legal issues
- Prepare internal memoranda, summaries, and reports based on research findings
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
- Perform blacklining/redlining and manage version control of legal documents
- Analyze entity documents, agreements, and transactional materials for accuracy and consistency
- Assist in developing and improving document templates and workflows
- Utilize AI tools and legal technology to enhance efficiency in research and document production
- Track deadlines and manage document workflows across multiple active matters
- Support attorneys in high-level transactional and corporate matters
- Mentor and assist junior staff to ensure quality and consistency across work product
- 7+ years of experience in transactional law, corporate law, or real estate legal support
- Strong experience with legal research, memo writing, and document analysis
- Proficiency in redlining/blacklining and document comparison tools
- Familiarity with AI tools and legal technology platforms (or strong willingness to learn)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
- Bachelor’s Degree required
