Job Description
Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior UX Researcher – Wealth Management / Capital Markets for their Weehawken Township, NJ/Hybrid location.Responsibilities:
- Conducting User Research: use various research methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies, to gather data about user behavior and preferences.
- Evaluating and Reviewing Existing Products: Analyzing the user experience of existing product and services, to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyzing Data: Interpreting data collected from user research, identifying trends, and extracting meaningful insights.
- Communicating Insights: Clearly and concisely presenting research findings to designers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that insights are understood and actionable.
- Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Working closely with designers, engineers, product managers, and other team members to ensure that research findings inform design and development decisions.
- Promoting User-Centered Design: Championing user-centered design principles and ensuring that research findings are used to create positive and inclusive experiences for all users.
- About 7-8 years of expertise/experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis, preferably in Financial/Capital Markets domain.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the importance of putting the user first.
- Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present research findings to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and Product Managers.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the importance of putting the user first.
- Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights.
