Job Description

The Senior Vice President, Loan Administration, reporting into the Managing Director, Operations Lead, is a critical part of Antares, responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and controlled processing of investment activity across the firm's credit portfolios. The SVP, Loan Administration, plays a key leadership role in overseeing the end‑to‑end administration of loan activity and ensuring all transactions and lifecycle events are accurately recorded in Wall Street Office (WSO) in accordance with documented processes and control standards.

This role is responsible for leading global loan administration teams, partnering with internal stakeholders, and coordinating with external agents and counterparties to support scalable, institutional‑grade operations as the firm continues to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and day‑to‑day leadership over loan administration activities, including deal setup, trade booking, lifecycle events, cash activity, and ongoing servicing across bilateral, syndicated, and agented facilities.
  • Ensure all loan activity is accurately, timely, and consistently recorded in Wall Street Office (WSO), supported by strong controls, audit trails, and exception management.
  • Lead and develop onshore and offshore teams, establishing clear roles, performance expectations, coverage models, and escalation paths.
  • Own and maintain comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring processes are well documented, reviewed regularly, and aligned with regulatory and audit expectations.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for external agents, trustees, custodians, fund administrators, and counterparties, ensuring effective coordination and issue resolution.
  • Partner closely with internal teams including Investment, Finance, Fund Accounting, Technology, Risk, and Compliance to support system rollout, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Technology to enhance WSO workflows, reporting, and integrations, supporting automation, scalability, and data quality improvements.
  • Lead operational risk management efforts, including audit engagement, remediation of findings, and proactive identification of control enhancements.
  • Support operational readiness for new products, structures, and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in loan administration, loan operations, or investment operations within an asset manager, bank, or financial services organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Wall Street Office (WSO) or comparable loan administration platforms.
  • Proven experience leading global teams, including onshore and offshore delivery models.
  • Strong knowledge of leveraged loans, private credit, syndicated lending, and loan lifecycle events.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA).
  • Experience supporting private credit, CLO, or complex fund structures.

This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance).
