The Wylder Server Assistant

The Wylder is hiring a talented Server Assistant to join our family! Do you want to be part of a fun, dynamic, and growing hospitality group? Join us at the hippest spot in town.

An SA at The Wylder will succeed at supporting the entire team by maintaining high standards throughout the restaurant and being invested in our Core Values:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist with restaurant front of the house procedures to ensure an outstanding guest experience

Welcome guests warmly by smiling and making eye contact as they enter the restaurant

Communicate with servers and managers regarding special requests

Constantly move throughout the kitchen and restaurant

Constantly monitor and maintain food standards for recipe production, appearance, correctness, quality, and safety

Execute bussing and resetting tables according to restaurant's standards

Polish glassware and dishware

Assist with seating guests

Operate a variety of kitchen equipment and tools

Handle guest concerns by listening and informing a server and/or manager

Support team members including leadership

Execute effective communication skills

Exude positive attitude under stress

Contribute to a fun and professional work environment

Ability to execute follow-through

Requirements:

LOVE for the restaurant industry

Ability to follow detailed directions

Ability to follow standard restaurant procedures

Ability to maintain standards in food and beverage quality

Ability to safely utilize a variety of kitchen tools and machinery

Ability to serve all guests to high standards in a fast-paced environment

Ability to be highly organized

Ability to clean and maintain a safe work environment

Ability to uphold company policies

Ability to contribute to a fun and lively atmosphere
