Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and seat them at tables in a timely and organized manner
- Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using point-of-sale (POS) systems and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff
- Deliver food and beverages to tables with attention to detail, ensuring orders are correct and presented professionally
- Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns with empathy and efficiency
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and provide appropriate change
- Clear and reset tables promptly while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with team members to support overall restaurant operations and assist colleagues when needed
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards consistently to maintain a safe dining environment
- Manage multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining composure in fast-paced situations
- Respond to guest requests and special needs with flexibility and a customer-focused approach
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive team environment through open communication and collaborative problem-solving
