Job Description
The vibe, the vibe, the vibe. That’s what our servers love more than anything else about working at Mellow Mushroom. There’s a contagious attitude here. It’s laid back, come-as-you-are, peaceful, fun, and ultra-cool. But it’s also extremely attentive, expert, and proud. Sound like you? Please consider serving our legendary pizzas, innovative menu items, and refreshing craft cocktails. And take your part in the experience we call Mellow.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Above all: provide positive, memorable, and hospitable experiences for our guests; find ways to exceed guests’ expectations.
- Be welcoming and accommodating; present menus, educate patrons, and answer questions with a Mellow vibe.
- Take orders; make recommendations and offer positive feedback while being your unique self.
- Be attentive and quick; make sure guests are relaxed and comfortable; make sure all beverages are full or replaced.
- Take care of business through accurate payment processing; maintaining clean and ready to serve dining rooms; and all the side work that goes along with the territory.
- Listen to complaints or problems with a positive attitude; solve problems on your feet and offer solutions.
- Have fun; enjoy working with your amazing team of pizza bakers, fellow servers, and bartenders.
WHAT WE OFFER:
If you can do all that while maintaining a Mellow vibe, here’s what we can offer in return: competitive compensation, paid training and development, employee discounts, and a positive environment that values diversity, inclusion, respect, and freedom of self-expression in our team members.
