Innovative, high-volume restaurant looking for experienced SERVER candidates for both lunch and dinner shifts, indoor & outdoor! Peerless Hospitality Concepts, a family-owned restaurant group with a rich history in Tennessee dating back to 1938, is seeking smiling experienced Serves to for guest food service at our unique-concept, full-service, casual dining restaurant and bar, BURG'r & BARREL in a historic Johnson City location. An additional full-service restaurant is slated to re-open by 2026 after renovations.Perks:

Responsibilities:

Provide hospitable, friendly customer foodservice to each of our guests
Learn & communicate our menus to our guests proficiently
Perform opening & closing duties proficiently
Partner with other team members to ensure guest satisfaction
Follow & food safety & sanitation procedures
Handle money, present accurate guest checks & take payments accurately
Up-sell & make food & beverage suggestions to guests with every opportunity!
Quickly & carefully deliver food with a smile to all guests
Ensure all food looks correct on the plate before delivery
Communicate with guests after food delivery about their additional needs
Clean tables & floors to ensure restaurant cleanliness & order

Musts:

Must be 100% guest-focused and consistently project a positive, upbeat attitude!
Must have consistent high-energy people & communication skills showing compassion & empathy!
Must have a positive, friendly attitude & demeanor and be a go-getter!
Must be professional, calm and accommodating in all situations!
Must be organized, have attention to detail & be a mulit-tasker!
Must work efficiently & accurately in a fast-paced environment!
Must be available to work some weekends, weekdays & holidays
Must be able to spend entire shifts walking, standing & carrying up to 20 lbs.!
Must be able to work as part of a dynamic team!
Must be 18+ & have a valid TN ABC Server Permit Card or obtain one within 30 days of employment

In 1960 the company branched out into commercial property management & development offering both exclusive retail & professional spaces. After nearly a century of serving the finest food in East Tennessee, we celebrated our culinary craft by opening BURG’r & BARREL in 2022 in our hometown historic train depot offering unique indoor/outdoor dining scenes & full bars. In 2023, we acquired MIMI's ICE CREAM & DESSERTS, with 2 dessert trucks, serving outside at BURG'r & BARREL & at events throughout the area. In 2024, we acquired Capelli Bei Salon & Suites which provides professional salon services.
