A Server at Zinnia delivers exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive, efficient service, guiding guests through the menu, and ensuring accurate order execution and payment processing.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.
- Take and enter accurate orders into the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner; check back to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout service.
- Process payments accurately.
- Maintain clean, organized tables and service areas.
- Complete opening, running, and closing side work.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.
- Address guest concerns professionally and escalate as needed.
- Support team members to ensure smooth service flow.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 2+ years of restaurant server experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills and comfort managing multiple tables
- Able to follow directions and work independently
- Effective verbal communication skills
