Job Summary

Waters Edge Winery & Bistro is seeking friendly, attentive, and professional servers to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Servers play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere by delivering knowledgeable, efficient, and personalized service.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for hospitality, and takes pride in delivering high-quality guest experiences. Servers will guide guests through menu selections, offer recommendations, and ensure each visit is memorable.

Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming dining experience
Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of food, wine, and specials
Make recommendations based on guest preferences
Accurately take food and beverage orders
Deliver food and drinks in a timely and professional manner
Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience
Process payments accurately using POS system
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
Follow all food safety and alcohol service guidelines
Assist with opening and closing side work duties
Support special events, tastings, and busy service periods

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to learn menu items including wine selections
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of wine or willingness to learn
Experience using POS systems
Experience in hospitality or guest service roles
Ability to provide thoughtful food and wine recommendations
