Job Description

Maintain and troubleshoot devices and systems; follow maintenance protocols to ensure systems are secure and ready for users; identify and document emerging issues and system performance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Support (50%)

  • Provide IT support resolving simple to complex problems to the end user's satisfaction
  • Diagnoses and resolves hardware and software problems for end-users in-person and on the phone. Documents solutions and procedures
  • Provides on-call emergency end-user support after-hours as scheduled

Inventory management (20%)

  • Update and maintain desktop hardware inventory and surplus equipment
  • Assist in technical upgrading and maintaining of desktop systems
  • Performs moves, adds, and changes of IT equipment as needed

Documentation and Research (10%)

  • Create and maintain documentation for system performance, bugs and program requirements

Infrastructure Support (20%)

  • Assist in ensuring maximum availability of all network and systems components
  • Interact with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop equipment

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):

  • Associates, or Vocational or Technical School, degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Field of Study: Technology
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred. Field of Study: Technology, Collaboration/Communication
  • 0 -1 years related work experience
