Job Description

Bob Brown Chevrolet has been a locally owned and operated regional Des Moines car and truck dealer for over 60 years. We are looking for a Service Cashier to assist customers will coordinating shuttle drop offs and pick-ups, cashiering, and general clerical duties.

Responsibilities

Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
Computes customer bills.
Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
Makes change and issues receipts to customers.
Provides cash refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise.
Operates cash register.
Reconciles cash drawer daily.
Maintains and files repair orders, parts invoices, rental forms; lists missing documents.
Assists customers with loaner pick-ups and drop-offs.
Closes all open invoices.
Assists service and parts department with telephone coverage.
Responsible for maintaining daily scanning of service documents.
Provides clerical and secretarial assistance to parts and service departments.
Works with managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered, their features and value, and any changes in price.
Maintains a professional appearance (two company shirts provided).
Keeps work area neat and clean.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous cashier experience (a plus)
Valid drivers license
Willing to adhere to a background check and drug test
