Job Description
Barcel & Associates is seeking an experienced Service Insurance Consultant to join our team. This position supports our Client Success function, working primarily with existing clients to service policies, conducting coverage reviews, and assisting clients with insurance decisions as their needs evolve.
This role is service-focused, but it also includes consultative sales conversations that naturally arise during client interactions. The goal is not aggressive selling or cold calling, but ensuring clients are properly covered and informed. Additional coverage is recommended only when appropriate and as part of the service process.
Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.
This role is on-site initially. Hybrid eligibility may be available after one year, or after approximately three months for qualified candidates with prior Allstate or captive agency experience, based on performance and business needs.
Salary Range: $42000.00 - $55000.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day service support to existing clients
- Conduct insurance reviews and explain coverage, limits, and options
- Process endorsements, policy updates, and service-driven rewrites
- Identify coverage gaps or improvement opportunities during client interactions
- Present and process additional products or coverage when appropriate as part of the service process
- Assist with sales activity that naturally results from reviews, rewrites, or client requests
- Collaborate with the sales team on more complex new business opportunities
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all carrier and compliance guidelines
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required)
- Prior experience in insurance, telemarketing, call-center environments, or other roles involving consultative client conversations is strongly preferred
- Experience working with existing customers, handling service requests, or discussing products or solutions over the phone
- Texas General Lines Property & Casualty license preferred, or willingness to obtain promptly
- Prior experience with Allstate (any state) or another captive insurance agency is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
- Ability to explain insurance concepts clearly, confidently, and with empathy
- High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred
