We are seeking a high-impact Service Manager to lead and grow one of our service departments. This role is responsible for building high-performing technicians, delivering 5-star customer experiences, and driving profitable, efficient, and ethical operations.
This is a leadership role-plain and simple. Leading and motivating the team is paramount to success, and the ideal candidate must be comfortable holding team members accountable, setting clear expectations, and consistently reinforcing a culture of excellence. Strong communication skills are essential, including the confidence to speak in front of groups, lead meetings, and inspire performance across the team. If you can't motivate people, hold them accountable, and drive results, this is not the position for you. If you are competitive, operationally strong, and thrive on building winning teams, this role is for you-no field experience required.
What You'll Do:
Lead & Develop Technicians
- Recruit, hire, and onboard field technicians and apprentices.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, ride-alongs, and performance reviews.
- Build technical skills, customer experience excellence, and confidence at every stage of technician development.
- Lead ongoing training and customer service best practices.
Drive Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily service operations and technician performance.
- Manage labor efficiency and department schedule.
- Serve as the escalation point for field and customer concerns.
- Align department performance with revenue and profitability goals.
- Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction standards.
Build Culture & Accountability
- Model the company's core values daily.
- Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable.
- Promote collaboration, positivity, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure safety compliance and ethical practices at all times.
