Are you an experienced Service Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in the Commercial HVAC sector of the Construction industry? Our company is in search of a committed, seasoned professional who is adept at leading a team, managing service operations, and driving profitability. As a Service Manager for Commercial HVAC, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that values innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all service operations related to Commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and air conditioning units.
2. Ensuring the implementation of preventative maintenance programs for all HVAC systems and equipment to maximize their lifespan and efficiency.
3. Coordinating and supervising retrofit projects to upgrade and improve existing HVAC systems.
4. Driving profitability through strategic planning, cost control, and effective resource management.
5. Developing and executing sales strategies to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
6. Managing customer relations, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
7. Supervising and coordinating the work of our HVAC technicians, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance evaluation.
8. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards in all service operations.
9. Collaborating with other departments, such as the sales and engineering teams, to optimize operations and improve service delivery.
10. Conducting regular training and development programs for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, you must have:

1. A minimum of 4 years of experience in the mechanical, HVAC, plumbing sector.
2. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and air conditioning units.
3. Proven experience in managing service operations, including maintenance, retrofitting, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
4. A strong understanding of the principles and practices of preventative maintenance.
5. Demonstrated ability to drive profitability and sales in a service-oriented environment.
6. Proficient in plumbing related to HVAC systems.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of employee development.
8. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
