Service ProcessorWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Service Processor I for our client in Warren, Ohio – a global leader in automation and control solutions. • Receive incoming repairs and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders*
• Create and update repair orders in the ERP system accurately*
• Ensure billing and shipping addresses, customer contact details, and product information are entered correctly*
• Distribute incoming repairs to service technicians and gather completed repairs*
• Verify that repairs are logged correctly in the ERP system before shipment, ensuring purchase orders, shipping details, notes, labor, and parts are accurate*
• Create quotes for repaired equipment and maintain detailed records of transactions*
• Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding quotes, repair status, lead times, and shipping details*
• Contact customers to obtain purchase orders and handle special billing or service requests*
• Assist other departments in resolving service-related billing or order processing issues

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience*
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and ERP system navigation*
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills*
• Excellent verbal communication and professional email etiquette*
• Competence in proofreading, editing, and written composition*
• Ability to acquire basic product knowledge, including product identification and market applications

Nice to Have Skills:

• Production experience*
• Blueprint reading*
• Assembly and measuring skills*
• Knowledge of quality control, control panel assembly, wiring, component installation

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
