Join Our Team as an Apartment Maintenance Service Technician in Texarkana, AR!
Our beautiful apartment community in Texarkana, AR, is seeking a skilled and experienced Apartment Maintenance Service Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HVAC/EPA certified maintenance professional looking to take on a varied and diverse role with a successful, growing company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all maintenance and repair work for the apartments, supportive buildings, common areas, breezeways, irrigation systems, and grounds.
- Complete all service requests within one business day except in extraordinary circumstances.
- Coordinate turnkey work in vacant apartments including debris removal, repairs & replacement, painting, lock & key rotation, and inspection.
- Maintain a neat, organized, and adequately stocked maintenance shop.
- Be on call for 24-hour emergency maintenance service while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Provide technical guidance to personnel engaged in maintenance and repair activities.
- Complete semi-annual and quarterly Preventive Maintenance Reports on various property aspects.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and operational tasks on swimming pool equipment.
- Paint all interior and exterior surfaces related to the apartment community.
- Comply with Fair Housing Act regulations at all times.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Community Manager.
Qualifications:
- HVAC or EPA certification preferred.
- Pool operation and maintenance experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical aspects of appliance repair, HVAC troubleshooting and repairs, and basic understanding of electricity, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and irrigation systems.
- Must be available to work in an on-call capacity as related to our 24-hour routine maintenance guarantee.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift objects up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and twist into small areas.
- Ability to bend forward when picking up objects from the ground.
- Ability to reach overhead for extended periods due to overhead repair work.
