Position Overview

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and maintaining brewing and serving equipment in a workshop setting. You play a critical role in ensuring our customers enjoy quality coffee products by keeping equipment clean, functional, and reliable.Key Responsibilities

Prioritize and schedule repairs of brewing equipment to meet operational demandsInspect used parts to assess wear and dimensional changesObserve and listen to mechanical devices in operation to diagnose issuesDismantle equipment to access and remove defective componentsExamine parts for defects, such as changes in form or textureAdjust and calibrate functional components and control instrumentsRepair or replace faulty parts, install new structural or functional componentsLubricate and clean mechanical parts to ensure smooth operationConduct performance tests to verify repairs and ensure equipment functionalityManage and maintain accurate inventory of all repair partsMay be asked to perform additional duties as necessary.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

A passing score on an aptitude test may be accepted in lieu of a diploma

Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical or small appliance repair; HVAC experience is a plusFamiliarity with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing fundamentalsValid driver's license or government-issued IDSuccessful completion of a pre-employment physicalInternal Only: Experience with Community Coffee, even if unrelated, may fulfill this requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager with approval from Human Resources.
